Book bicycles or golf carts in the morning and drive to the northern tip of Folly Island. A path at the end of Ashley Avenue leads to a rustic section of the beach that is always a slight cozier, and where a small inlet separates Folly Island from neighbouring Morris Island, the only road on the northern tip. Best Time to visit Folly Beach:

Although winters may be mild in Charleston and Folly Beach, if you want to make the most of your trip and spend time in the sun, this might not be the best time to explore. Summers can also get very hot and busy, making it less than suitable for those looking for a relaxing holiday to visit Folly Beach.
